Hudson Made Expanded Retail Store

Hudson Made Launches Expanded Made in America E-Commerce Store

Offerings Include the Hudson Flea, a Curated Collection of Vintage Finds

Brooklyn, NY, October 10, 2012 — Hudson Made is pleased to announce the launch of our expanded website (www.hudsonmadeny.com), offering dozens of new products, all 100% American-made. Find everything from specialized soaps and luxury bath products to beautiful, modern accessories for the kitchen, and our very own line of black walnut kitchen and serving boards.

Founded by Bill Hovard, Hudson Made was created to support and celebrate the efforts of American artisans and entrepreneurs. Some who will be featured include Dana Brandwein of dbO Home, Jonathan Simons of Jonathan Spoons, and Joshua Vogel of Black Creek Mercantile.

In addition to the carefully curated selection of American-made, small batch products, Hudson Made is also continuing to develop our own line of signature products such as bath and shave soaps, wooden items, and soft goods including utility aprons and linen dish towels. All are locally sourced and produced.

Keep an eye out for special offers and a rollout of exciting news as we launch our new site. The holidays will also bring specially curated gift sets, made from a mixture of modern and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces.

"American regionalism is not a trend, but a movement," notes Bill Hovard. "Hudson Made is part of a broader community of cottage industries, transforming the American landscape and marketplace from our own backyard." He concludes: "many of the products that we make and the artisans whom we represent come from the Hudson Valley; all are from the USA and find their inspiration in its flora and fauna, its rich and abundant history, as well as fellow local artisans, crafts and trades.  These individuals are transforming NY State and other regions—it is an exciting movement to be a part of."

About Hudson Made: We are an online retailer selling highly curated artisanal products from the Hudson Valley, North Country, Brooklyn, and other distinct American regions. We praise quality over quantity, which means small batches, and goods that have an original story. We aim to preserve products that have a real place in America's history; products that are timeless, but have been updated to function today with a modern aesthete, as well as a relevant and sustainable design sensibility. Always 100% American.
