Love Workers and Morning Shift

As a man, these two scents are great… natural and non-cologne-y, just the smell of essential oils and ingredients. Workers is a deeper scent, Morning Shift is fresh but like bitter herbs in the forest. The beard oil is great as a pre-shave oil, or an extra level of moisture after shaving… so for me it’s not a beard oil, it’s a shave oil. Wish they had a witch hazel for an after shave. All their products are great that I’ve tried… I’m a fan.

Great moisturizer for beard and skin

I live in Colorado and the weather is very dry here .
Finding a good beard oil to reduce skin flaking and moisturizing beard and skin is fairly difficult . They’re either overly scented or really greasy . I appreciated the natural scent and the effectiveness of the moisturizers . I will continue to buy this even though it’s not available locally to me .

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are Hudson Made products natural or organic?

Many of our products are organic, although not certified. All our products are natural. All the ingredients we farm in partnership with our growers are organic.

What is the difference between Natural and Organic?

Natural ingredients come from plants, flowers and minerals found in nature. No GMOs (genetically modified ingredients). No parabens, sulfates or harmful ingredients. Free of petrochemicals. Never tested on animals and manufactured to retain the integrity of the natural elements.

Organic strictly refers to ingredients farmed or extracted without pesticides, chemical fertilizers and non-GMO (genetically modified). Products labeled Organic require strict certification and regulation.

A product that is "Organic" is 95% - 100% chemical-free, while a natural product is usually generally 50-70% chemical-free.

Why use natural and organic products?

The skin is our largest organ. Since products applied to the skin are absorbed and enter the bloodstream, they must be natural and organic whenever possible. Natural and organic products are healthier and safer for the environment and animals (no animal testing).

Can I use the products if I am pregnant?

We advise all our pregnant or nursing customers to consult their physician before using our products.

What is Sustainable Palm Oil?

Palm oil is highly versatile and incredibly efficient - oil palm trees produce up to 10 times more oil per hectare than any other crop. Palm oil is in more than 50% of the foods and cosmetics we consume, and demand for Palm Oil has doubled in the past 10 years. As a result, unregulated and unsustainable palm oil production contributes to deforestation, habitat loss for endangered wildlife and negatively impacts rural communities and economies. Simply switching to another oil is not necessarily the answer, as the same adverse effects exist with any unregulated monoculture.

Palm oil itself is not the enemy. RSPO certified palm oil (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) ensures small growers improve productivity while conserving vital forest areas, supports small growers to boost yields and improve livelihoods. Our Palm Oil is RSPO certified and comes from small manufacturers.

Why Use Sulfate-Free?

Sulfates help soaps create a thick lather, but they may build up in the body over time. Additionally, sulfates can strip away natural and beneficial oils and dry the hair and skin. It is best to avoid sulfates for those with sensitive skin, acne, or eczema as they can irritate the skin and clog the pores.

Why Paraben-Free?

Our products are Paraben-free. Parabens are commonly used as preservatives in cosmetics to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and mold, but they are linked to hormone imbalances and cancer.
